FAQ

About Biosensors

What kind of device is it to measure?

A device that measures specific components in a solution. Pretreatment such as extraction is required when measuring the components in an individual or a highly viscous liquid.

What components can be measured?

By exchanging the electrodes, it is possible to measure about 50 types of sugars, amino acids, organic acids, amines, etc.

In what fields are you often used?

Ideal for R & D, production and quality control of fermentation, regenerative medicine with cell culture, vaccine production, biofinalization, food and brewing.

What is the measurement principle?

The substance to be measured is converted to hydrogen peroxide by the catalytic action of the immobilized enzyme. The obtained hydrogen peroxide is electrochemically detected by the hydrogen peroxide electrode.

How many components can be measured at the same time?

BF-7D has 2 components, BF-7MX has 4 components, and BF-8M has 6 components.

How long is the life of the electrode?

It can be used for about 2 to 6 months and has a long life, depending on the type of electrode, frequency of use, and storage conditions.

How long is the delivery time for consumables?

As a guide, electrodes should be used for about 3 weeks, and standard solutions and buffers should be used for about 2 weeks.
